Part of Black's "Library of English Art" series. Oman takes the reader through the Middle Ages and Renaissance to the modern era with history of silver- and gold-smithing, also hallmarking, falsification and heraldic engraving. Textblock is immaculate except for foxing to page edges. DJ is price-clipped with some edgewear and rubbing, but generally very good.
