384pp inc index, b&w frontis and other b&w illustrations - Francatelli was chief cook and maitre d'hotel in the first year of Queen Victoria's marriage to Prince Albert.This book presents hundreds of his recipes and about 21 of his bills of fare. DJ (not price-clipped and now in protective sleeve) is soiled and edgeworn with a few closed tears. Textblock is clean and tight except for some foxing and spotting throughout. A large and heavy volume which may require additional postage.
