234pp inc tissue guarded colour frontis and all 16 other colour illustrations - Undated, but gift inscription to FEP verso is dated "Xmas, 1906" Although the cover title is "Life and Death of John Mytton Esq" the title page reads "The Life of John Mytton..." Covers (scarlet cloth decorated in gilt and black with red titles in gilt notif to front with spine missing) is slightly faded at edges and has bumped corners. End papers are tanned and brittle, FEP verson has inked gift inscription. Textblock is loose from several splits but is clean.
