256pp inc hundreds of b&w photos - This is Vol III of the six-volume set of the history of World War II. The volume is undated but was apparently published immediately following the war in 1945 or early 1946. Each page contains anything from a full-page b&w plate to as many as four b&w photos. All photos are captioned and there's a fair amount of text throughout. This volume coveres the Third Year of the War.
Covers (red pebbled leather with blind-stamped military vehicle vingette to front and gilt titles to spine) are lightly bumped at corners and very slightly soiled at edges. Text block is immaculate (except for slight amounts of edgewear). Decorated EPS.
