268pp inc illustrations and a tissue-protected frontispiece - 1st ed. This is a collection of stories from Genesis, written for children. The covers (blue cloth with gilt decorative scroll work and black titles and gilt titles to spine) is grubby, edgeworn, rubbed and spotted with white paint. Inside is clean and tight with decorative endpapers, except for some foxing, soiled page edges and a piece of glossy blue paper pasted to FPDP and one plate having come loose but tipped in.
