182pp inc index of first lines and frontispice of Poe's cottage. This volume of Poe's poetry includes a 48-page biographical and bibliographical introduction by Hutton and a 2-page Preface, dated 1845, by Poe. The cover is decorative paper with a red, yellow and blue on white geometrical design to front and rear. The frontispiece is protected by the original tissue guard. The white spine with black titles is sunned and rubbed with a 2" closed tear at the top of the rear hinge. Corners are bumped. There's a small bookshop sticker at the bottom hinge of the FPDP and some foxing to the end papers, otherwise clean and tight copy.
