192pp inc index and a plethora of b&w photos. What hath modern urban regeneration wrought? Aldous, former Time environment reporter paints a very negative picture of its results on the cities, towns, villages during the two post-war decades ending in 1974. As Betjeman says in the Foreward, "The strength of this book is in its restraint." The book is in VG condition except for the standard ex-lib stamps and markings. The blue cloth cover with gilt title to spine is in excellent condition with only minuscule edgewear. The DJ (in protective sleeve) shows some edgewear.
