Covers (grey cloth with blind-stamped floral decor to front and rear boards and gilt titles to spine) are worn and soiled and are cracking at front and rear. Textblock is foxed and tanned throughout with front and rear EPs carrying adverts for the publisher's editions of works by Thackeray and by Dickens and others. Fore-edges are rough-cut.
