Red leatherette binding is blind-stamped with rules and the the image of something strange, which I can't figure out, to the front board and spine with gilt title to spine. Some edgewear, soiling and scuffing to covers. Light soiling to page edges. Split at front and rear hinges. A large and heavy volume which may require additional shipping cost. The book was printed and bound by the Aylesbury publishers/printers, Hazell, Watson & Viney Ltd. The covers (black faux-leather with gilt scroll-work design to front and spine and gilt tiles to banded spine) are immaculate, except that the backstrip appears to have had a knife taken to the entire length of its front joint.
