691pp inc family tree and map of part of the Southeast of the USA - Danish language book. A translation of one of Moody's novels. Moody (1900 - 1993), was a "journalist and author who spent most of her working life in Atlanta," according to the Emory University General Libraries Special Collections website. "She was a columnist with the Atlanta Journal (1938-1943) and was the author of several novels, including Long Meadows published in 1941, and many short stories and poems which appeared in [various] magazines and newspapers. Beautifully bound in red half-leather with gilt titles and cartouches to spine, the volume is edgeworn and rubbed with light soiling. Textblock is clean and tight except for rubber-stamped information (bookshop name and location possibly) to title page.
