192pp - Harrison, who also wrote as "Felix Boyd" and "Hank Dempsey" was the award-winning author of many SF novels including "The Stainless Steel Rats" series, the "Deathworld" series. This is a "history as it might have been" or "alternative history" novel in which Captain "Gus" Washington and his team of navvies are driving a tunnel under the Atlantic. Gus, a descendant of the infamous George Washington, executed as a traitor after the Battle of Lexington, sees this as his opportunity to redeem the family name, according to the FantaticFiction dot co dot uk site.

DJ (not clipped, but is attached to covers by an adhesive-backed clear mylar-type protective sleeve). Textblock is clean and tight.

Time travel is believed by some to be impossible and by others to be a no-no because of the inherent dangers. In this Rat novel Harrison tells what could happen if it were possible and it's down to The Rat to save the world.
