326pp plus 4-page publisher's catalogue - Undated, but The British Library.says 1899 and Wikipedia says 1897.. There is no title or copyright page (FEP through to Table of Contents are missing). Frontis is missing, but the six other colour plates are present, albeit on pages other than where they're listed as being in the List of Illustrations. Covers (red cloth with black titles and art nouveau illustration of male student sitting on bench dozing with a book about to fall from his hand to the front board, all of which carries on across the spine and onto the rear board which pictures a female student sitting on the other end of the bench reading) are edgeworn, rubbed and soiled. Textblock is clean except for a few smudges. Front and rear hinges are cracked.
