147pp inc frontis and four other b+w plates - Undated, but the Oxford University libraries estimate 1888, and the Sunday School prize certificate tipped in to the FEP is dated, "Xmas, 1892". Covers (tan cloth with an oh-so Victorian colour and gilt illustration of two children comforting each other in a wooded area and coloured titles to front board and spine) are slightly edgeworn and have lightly bumped corners. Textblock is clean and tight except for afore-mentioned prize certificate and slight soiling of page edges.
