Commentary on various works of literature including More's Utopia, Pepys' diary, Defoe's Robinson Crusoe and more. Covers (red cloth with gilt titles to front and sunned, faded spine) is worn with bumped corners and faded top edges and frayed and splitting hinges. Inked inscriptions to FEP are dated "Oct 1918" and "Exeter June 1927". Text block has much foxing. A good reading copy of this volume.

Text block has floral EPs, lightly soiled page edges, and a little foxing but generally textblock is otherwise clean and tight.
