Heat (160pp inc index, q+a, and many illustrations) and Sound (126pp inc index, q+a, and many illustrations) were published in 1936. Light (178pp inc index, q+a, and many illustrations) was published in 1939 - These three volumes formed a set of "physics text-books of School Certificate and 1st M. B. standard," the author wrote in the Preface to Light. Light's covers (brown cloth with black titles and microscope vignette to front and black titles to spine) are immaculate except for sunning to spine. Heat's covers (red cloth with black titles and engine(?) vignette to front and black titles to spine) sunning to spine as well as some wear and soiling to boards. Sound's covers (green cloth with black titles and phonograph vignette to front and black titles to spine) are immaculate except for sunning to spine. Textblocks of Light and Sound are immaculate except for prior owner's typed label tipped to FPDP. Heat has same label but also the ghosts of removed presentation or ex-libris labels.
