Step". 182pp inc index and aforementioned illustrations. Undated, this appears to be a very early revision/expansion of earlier editions. "Wayside & Woodland Ferns: A Guide to the British Ferns, Horsetails and Club-Mosses: Edited by A. Bruce Jackson, With 64 Colour Plates Mabel E. Step, and 79 Plates from Photographs and Drawings". 144pp inc index and aforementioned illustrations. Dated 1947, this is a reprint of the New Edition of two years earlier with the addition of some additional plates. "Life of the Wayside & Woodland: When, Where, and What to Observe and Collect: By T A Coward, With 128 Illustrations from Photographs, 40 of which Prepared in Colour by Mr W. J. Stokoe and 11 by Thomas Baddeley". viii, 216pp inc index and aforementioned illustrations. This is the 1948 Seventh Impression. Three volume collection (issued individually as part of Warne's "Wayside & Woodland" series, is uniformly bound, except for colours of the covers. Trees is covered in dark green, Ferns is covered in lighter green, and Life is covered in a light brown or gold, all in pebbled, leather-like cloth with gilt titles and vignettes and authors' names in black to front boards with all text in gilt to spine) are all immaculate except for minor bumping of corners and minuscule edgewear. All have speckled page edges. All textblocks are immaculate with decorated end papers. A large and heavy set which May require additional postage. 007756 Price:
